Mike joined Ascot United in 1999 and after running an Under 8 team became Age Group Coordinator for the Under 9’s in 2001 and then moved back to be with his younger son to run the Under 7’s in 2002.
He completed the Junior Team Manager Award in 2000 and FA Level 1 in 2004 and was elected Chairman of the club in 2003.
He is also on the Management Committee of the East Berks Junior League. He has two sons at the club and lives in Ascot .
In days gone by he played football for Abingdon Youth and at University and rugby for Hoylake (on the Wirral).
After a career in the City in the insurance business he now acts as a management consultant. He is a passionate Leicester City and Leicester Tigers supporter and plays golf (badly!) as often as he can. |
