ASCOT UNITED 2 - 1 SPELTHORNE SPORTS
Ascot United triumphed 2-1 against Spelthorne Sports on Saturday in what could be a defining result in the season. With the league now entering a two-week blackout as the country battles Coronavirus, the Yellamen “ended” this part of the season with a superior points-per-game record – which could be a crucial achievement if the situation deteriorates further and the season is unable to restart.

But there are many uncontrollables; all that Ascot United can do is focus on those things within its control and they did that today as Harry Laflin (6’) and Ben Hodges (47’) catalysed the win. What happens next is anyone’s guess, but for the time being enjoy reading the last match report for a while! Match report here.
