|Ascot United are on the road on Saturday with a trip to St James Park to face Brackley Town Saints (postcode NN13 7EJ).
Whilst they are mathematically still in the title race, The Saints have faltered in recent weeks with just two league wins from six, including a damaging loss against rivals Wantage.
However, they played their part in a closely-fought one-all draw at The Racecourse earlier this season when Harry Laflin (pictured) scored for the Yellamen.
Ascot will need to work hard to secure a top-six finish. This is the first of their last three league matches – all away from home – and all tricky prospects. Shrivenham look set to leapfrog them into fifth, which realistically leaves Royal Wootton Bassett (who the Yellamen face next week) and Windsor and Flackwell Heath (who both need to capitalize on a glut of games in hand) with opportunities to grab sixth.
Elsewhere, The Development Side host Dunstable on Saturday, before Sunday’s games include the Ladies Devs’ home clash with Holyport at Goaters Road; the Ladies’ first team enjoying a day off.
