Our new clubhouse is going to have a lot of similarities to fellow Hellenic League club Hook Norton, whose clubhouse opened 15 months ago. We are using the same project manager and builder and when a number of the committee went up there in mid November we were all very impressed with what they had achieved. Not only was the building a great facility for the members and local community but we heard how it transformed the way in which the members now use the clubhouse not only when football is being played but for social functions and televised major sporting events. We believe this is what we can also do at Ascot. The Hook Norton Clubhouse - a slightly different design but similar in many ways

Thanks to the terrific support we have received from club members and local businesses, fund raising to equip the new clubhouse has gone quite well although there are always opportunities for further funds and the Buy a Brick scheme will continue as we start the new season. We hope to have the building handed over to us buy the end of July and the whole club looks forward to welcoming you to the new facilities. |
